Saturday's are so much fun

Today we went to Sanders Nursery. I had lots of fun, Auntie Em pushed me in my stroller & lots of people said how cute we were. Oh & we went to McDonalds! Grandpa wanted to give me a french fry but Nana wouldn't let him.

An Excerpt from our Day

NO CHILDREN WERE HARMED IN THE MAKING OF THIS CRAZINESS

10:35

Me: Emily, I'm going to take a shower before I take you to swimming lessons. Will you watch Noble?

Emily: OK

10:40ish

Emily: (Standing at shower door holding Noble) Mom, Noble is getting fussy can you hurry.

10:41ish

Emily: Mom, hurry she is getting really fussy

Me: I'm hurrying as fast as I can (Get out of shower & quickly dry off)

Take Noble from Emily, place her on the bathroom floor, with the pile of dirty laundry that I haven't been able to get to - position her so that if she falls over she will land on them & not get hurt.

Emily: Mom, Ms. Christina is on the phone she wants to know if we want to go swimming.

Mom takes phone talks to Christina.

Emily: Mom, the door bell is ringing.

Me: Go see who it.

Emily: I think it's a policeman.

Me, in a panic & a bath towel, quickly throw on some clothes. By the time I get there Emily has seen that the van the man is in has an A & T on it and they just want to have access to the back yard.

11:20ish Finally ready for swimming

Gather up diaper bag, Noble, keys. Remember phone is in bedroom. Send Emily to get it. See that the car seat is sitting on the table where I left it last night when I brought Noble in asleep. Rearrange everything in my hands to get seat & head for the door.

Where are my keys?

Emily: We are doomed!!!!

11:30 Emily finds keys in diaper bag & we head out

EMILY: Mom I'm really late for swimming.

MOM: I know - it'll be alright just go on in.

Good Morning

Noble slept all night again & woke up in another great mood. She really wanted to play with Grandpa but he could only play for a little while since he had to get to work. But he promised her this evening lots of play time and he got dibs on rocking her to sleep.

We have walked around the back yard & watched the squirrels & birds, played with Tucker & our toys and now we are napping.

Life is GOOD!!!

Nana says I'm sooooo cute. But you already knew that, didn't you!!

Hey Mom is it ok if I watch Desperate Housewives?

First day Noble sitting

We have survived a full day of Noble sitting. Both Nana & Noble are doing fine. Although Nana is a little tired.

We are settling into a routine. I suspect that it is very different than the one Mom and Noble have but it works for us. Mom may want some pointers though, since Noble is sleeping through the night.
